Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz has tested positive for coronavirus after learning she was exposed earlier this month, her office confirmed to the Daily News on Sunday.

Katz had some “mild symptoms,” including a slight ever, but has been working from home and self-isolating, and is feeling better, spokeswoman Kim Livingtson told The News.

Katz joins a host of New York City pols who have contracted the virus that is ravaging the city and filling hospitals.

The spokesperson, Doug Forand, told Politico that his boss had already been working from home when she learned on March 21 that she had been exposed. She learned Saturday that she had a positive test result, he said. She had a fever.

Other NYC officials who have tested positive, with varying degrees of illness, include MTA Chairman Pat Foye, whose test results came back Saturday; Port Authority head Rick Cotton, who famously interacted with journalist Katie Couric – without touching, she said – during a chance encounter on the street around the time he was diagnosed; the city’s counterterrorism head, John Miller, who was hospitalized, and some city council and state assembly members, among others.
