UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is stable at St. Thomas’ Hospital in London after he was moved
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is stable at St. Thomas’ Hospital in London after he was moved to the ICU with worsening coronavirus symptoms.
Johnson, 55, “remains clinically stable and is responding to treatment," a spokesperson for 10 Downing Street said Wednesday morning.
The prime minister is still receiving oxygen, but is not on a ventilator, the spokesperson said.
Johnson, who has deputized Foreign Minister Dominic Raab in his place, is not working, but can contact anyone when necessary.
After being hospitalized Sunday with persistent symptoms, including a fever and cough, Johnson was moved to the ICU Monday and has been there for two nights.
