While President Trump apparently wants no part of a feud with fellow provocateur Howard Stern, the SiriusXM host has met his match in Donald Trump Jr.

Stern ⁠— who last week characterized the president as a wanna-be celebrity who secretly hates his own followers ⁠— sarcastically responded Tuesday to criticism from the president’s namesake.

“I can’t argue wIth him, that kid is such a success,” Stern joked. “He is such a wit, he is such a genius. He would have made a fortune if he wasn’t under his father’s thumb. Game over. You can’t argue with a genius like that.”

Trump Jr. compared Stern to Hilary Clinton during a Thursday visit to SiriusXM’s “Jim and Sam Show," where he recalled the president’s 2016 Democratic rival calling the Republican nominee’s followers “deplorables.”

“When he shuts you down, that’s it,” Stern mocked. “What an accomplished young man.”

Stern, an animals rights activist whose wife Beth Stern is the spokeswoman for the North Shore Animal League, also mocked the president’s “macho” 42-year-old son for shooting big game during controlled hunts.

“You can’t argue with that kind of bravery,” Stern said. “Even the guys in Afghanistan right now are going ‘Jesus Christ, what a kid.’ ”

The 66-year-old SiriusXM host said he hopes Trump Jr.'s comments impressed the president, who has uncharacteristically not addressed any of Stern’s insults in recent weeks.

“I only pray to God that his comments will impress his father and his father will give him love... he’ll get some good attention,” Stern said.

With his co-host Robin Quivers egging him on, Stern said it was a “no win” when you argue with a “wit and wisdom” like Trump Jr. He further congratulated Trump Jr. for his position as executive vice president of the Trump Organization.

“Where I came from, no one is expected to be successful or anything, but the way this kid has risen in the business world and just taken it by storm... to be criticized by him is damaging,” Stern wisecracked. “I would list all of Junior’s accomplishments right now, but I only have a three-hour show.”
