Australian footy star Adam Elliot is under investigation by the NRL's integrity unit after a naked video emerged online.
The video of the Bulldogs forward began circulating on Thursday leading team management to issue a statement on Thursday evening.
'The Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs would like to confirm that they are aware of a video having surfaced involving Adam Elliott,' the club statement claimed.
'The video relates to something that was filmed at a private gathering five years ago. The club has informed the NRL Integrity Unit of the matter.

The video is understood to have been filmed five years ago but began circulating Thursday
There is no suggestion of any illegal behaviour in the video.
Elliot is currently under contract negotiations with the Bulldogs and had reportedly hit a stalemate with the club.
He has established himself as one of the standout players for the team in recent games and is understood to have been courting interest from St George and the Canberra Raiders.
The Bulldogs had reportedly given him a 'low-ball' offer, leading to him hesitating to sign an extended contract, according to The Daily Telegraph.
The video was also leaked to multiple media outlets on Thursday leading some to suggest the stunt was a dirty trick connected with the contract negotiations.
Any scandal could drive Elliot's market value down.
Elliot was involved in a previous 2018 incident in which he was spotted dancing naked around teammates at the Harbour View Hotel in Sydney during 'mad monday' celebrations.
In 2019 he pleaded guilty to wilful and obscene exposure following an investigation by police into the function and received a two-year good behaviour bond with no conviction recorded.

Speaking to Fox League in June Elliot said that he wanted to remain with the Bulldogs.
'I've got a young family now and it's that point in my career where I have to make smart decisions, informed decisions. I'm just going to turn up and try and play as good as I can for the Bulldogs and, hopefully, that will sort itself out.'
The 29-year-old has just recently become a father in May after his partner Robyn Wattam gave birth to their first child.
Bulldogs skipper Josh Jackson on Thursday afternoon defended the club's culture just hours before the video leaked.
'It really bothers me when people say stuff about the culture at our club because the people saying those things have never been here,' Jackson Told 7 News.
The timing of the video is suspect in that Elliott is currently off contract and details of negotiations have been reported in recent days.
Any scandal could have the potential to drive the 25-year-old's price down.
The Bulldogs were faced with a similar issue in last year's pre-season, when videos of Dylan Napa surfaced.
At the time, the NRL determined they would not punish any players for videos recorded before that point if they contained no illegal behaviour.
That decision was made with a view to protect players from being extorted.
