A schoolboy murderer who stamped so hard on a victim leaving him 'internally decapitated' can finally be named.

Tristan Kiely, from East Kilbride, Scotland, turned 18 last week and can be unmasked as the legal ban protecting his identity has expired.

Kiely was just 16 years old when he inflicted 19 injuries on Frank Sinclair, 61, including severing the ligaments that attach the base of the skull to the victim's neck.

He was jailed for 11 years at the High Court in Edinburgh in February.

The thug was 16 when he inflicted 19 injuries on his victim in January last year and was sentenced to 11 years in prison at Edinburgh's High Court in February

A witness told The Sun how Kiely attacked Mr Sinclair in January last year with 'hard and forceful stamps', adding: 'I could hear the sound of his foot hitting the head.'

The thug and three girls came across Mr Sinclair who had been coming home from the pub and was lying on the ground in East Kilbride, on the outskirts of Glasgow.

The trial heard how Kiely had tried to help the victim to his feet but snapped when the pair fell causing him to scratch his face.

One of the girls, 17, described the attack, saying she could 'hear the man groaning'.

The attack took place near Westwood Baptist Church in the town near Glasgow where Kiely inflicted 19 injuries - including 'internal decapitation' - on his victim

The victim was left with injuries including a fractured Adam's apple and severed vertebrae at the top of his spine after the attack.

Kiely's social media accounts are filled with references to drug taking and underage drinking — holding bottles of Buckfast and posting pictures smoking large joints.

When quizzed about the savage attack, the thug said he was getting all his 'anger out' and didn't know he would 'kill him'.

A source said: 'People deserve to see his face. He's scum. People locally have already tried naming him on social media.'
