A woman has been injured and several cars have been damaged after scaffolding collapsed onto a busy suburban street.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Gosford on the NSW Central Coast after 3pm on Wednesday.
The scaffolding had fallen off a building on Mann Street and crushed a row of parked cars on the street, leaving a woman with serious head injuries.

At least eight cars were damaged in the collapse, with a woman taken to Gosford Hospital suffering head injuries
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia the woman is believed to be in her 40s and was taken to Gosford Hospital in a stable condition.
A light pole was brought down with the scaffolding, with at least eight cars damaged by the falling debris.
Hayden Davis was about to get into his car on Mann Street and made a lucky escape before disaster struck.
'I was standing near the car when it happened,' he told 7News. 'Some rocks fell on my head and then I came across the road and the scaffold fell over.'

Mann Street has been closed in both directions between Erina Street East and Donnison Street, with motorists urged to avoid the area this afternoon.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued a strong wind warning for the central coast on Wednesday as powerful westerly winds battered the region.
It is unknown if the wind gusts contributed to the scaffolding falling down.
SafeWork NSW released a safety alert on Tuesday in anticipation of the windy conditions.
A spokesperson from SafeWork NSW said representatives are at the scene 'investigating the collapse of scaffolding hoarding at a building site'.
