Brig. Gen. Esmail Ghaani, Commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, on Saturday issued a threat to Israel.

Ghaani said the “Zionists” should leave the “occupied Palestinian territories” and repurchase the properties they had sold in the US, Europe and elsewhere.

“I’d advise all Zionists to go back and repurchase the houses they have sold in Europe, the US and elsewhere to come to the Palestinian territories before the houses become more expensive than today,” the IRGC Quds Force chief said, according to the Tasnim news agency.

He added that the Palestinian Arabs should devise plans to administer all of “Palestine” in the future, because the Zionist regime must undoubtedly get ready to lose control over the “occupied territories”.

Ghaani said that the “Palestinian resistance forces” have made such great advances in recent years that they fired as many missiles in only the first three days of the most recent battle as the total missiles that were rained down on Israel during the 22-day war in December 2008 and January 2009.

Ghaani was named the replacement of Qassem Soleimani as the Commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps after the US eliminated Soleimani in an air strike in Iraq in January of 2020.

Iran openly supports Hamas. The sides restored ties that had been strained in recent years, as evident in the summer of 2017 when Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh thanked Iran for its "unlimited" support for the Al-Qassam Brigades and its contribution to the development of Hamas' military capabilities.

Hamas deputy leader Salah Al-Aruri has made several visits to Iran in recent years in which he met with senior officials, including Khamenei, another indication that the rift is over.

Major General Hossein Salami, commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guards, recently hailed the terrorists from Gaza who peppered Israel with rocket fire during the last round of escalation.

"Today we are witnessing the birth of a new Palestine... fighting with missiles," Salami said, adding, "A new Israel has also emerged, one that is broken, frustrated, downcast, that has lost confidence in itself."
