The review received by the ministers dealt, among other things, with the issue of sensitivity towards Russia in everything related to freedom of action in the skies of Syria. Bennett intervened during the debate, saying, "It should be noted that the steps we are taking against Ukraine do not ignore our interests vis-à-vis the Russians. We need to pay attention to these balances - so as not to lead to a violation of our freedom of action in Syria."
The issue of Russia's attempts to reduce immigration to Israel is very troubling to the political echelon, and therefore the issue has been discussed by the political-security cabinet.
