A Canadian-born freshman Knesset Member is calling on the new Netanyahu government to end the discriminatory enforcement of building laws in Judea and Samaria, while pushing for the formation of political alliances between Israel and lawmakers abroad to prepare the groundwork for the future application of sovereignty in Judea and Samaria.

MK Dan Illouz, a 36-year-old Likud MK sworn into office just two weeks ago after Likud members resigned from the Knesset under the Norwegian Law, spoke with Israel National News in the Knesset about the anti-Jewish discrimination by the Civil Administration in Judea and Samaria, as well as his plans to minimize the diplomatic costs of a future application of sovereignty in Judea and Samaria.

Speaking on last Friday’s evacuation of the unauthorized Ohr HaHaim outpost in Samaria, built by Jewish activists and named after the late Rabbi Haim Druckman, Illouz said Jewish settlement activity must be done in accordance with the law, but lamented the discriminatory enforcement of building laws in the area.

The evacuation “was a decision that probably should have been taken within the realm of applying law everywhere in Judea and Samaria,” Illouz said. READ MORE
