A customer at a Bronx laundromat flung a bleach bottle at a worker when he didn’t get enough money back from a change machine, police said Wednesday.
The short-tempered customer went berzerk inside the Huang Lee Laundromat on Decatur Ave. near E. 204th St. in Norwood about 7:25 p.m. Saturday, complaining the machine that provides quarters did not dispense the correct change.
In his rage, he hurled a bottle of bleach at a 36-year-old worker and ran off north on Decatur Ave.
The woman suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention.
Cops released a surveillance image Wednesday of the suspect taken inside the laundromat and asked the public’s help identifying him and tracking him down.
Police described the suspect as 5-foot-11 and 220 pounds with black hair, a beard and eyeglasses.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
