A 25-year-old man was shot dead near his Brooklyn home in what appears to be a gang hit, police said Wednesday.

Oshea Barnes was confronted by two men on Bergen St. near New York Ave. in Crown Heights about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and shot in the chest. The killers ran off and are being sought.

Barnes, who lived around the corner, was rushed by medics to Kings County Hospital but could not be saved.

Barnes belonged to the Brower Boys gang, according to a police source, and had three arrests on his record.

Police recovered three shell casings at the scene.
