A 60-year-old man strolling down the sidewalk in Brooklyn was stabbed in the neck without warning by a stranger in a terrifying random attack caught on video, cops said Wednesday.

The attacker said nothing before rushing the victim on Myrtle Ave. under the elevated subway tracks near Wyckoff Ave. in Bushwick around 10 p.m. Monday.

Surveillance video released by cops shows the assailant dart across the street, arms raised, to attack the victim on the sidewalk. He puts his hands around the victim’s neck and pushes him to the ground, then comes tumbling down on top of him.

As the two men wrestle each other on the sidewalk, the victim was stabbed once in the neck. A startled man walking beside the victim seems to try to intervene.

The victim got back on his feet and pointed at his attacker, who ran off west on Myrtle Ave. and has not been caught.

The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in serious condition.

Cops released the surveillance video in hopes someone will recognize the suspect, who was wearing a hooded jacket with a silver stripe across the chest.
