A tourist who lost his dog in the outback fives years ago discovered the Border Collie cross as he was scrolling through Facebook.
German man Leif Fischer was staying at the Northern Territory's Tennant Creek Caravan Park in 2015 when his beloved dog Chopper disappeared.
The tourist had never given up hope of finding his dog and continued to search lost and found pages on Facebook before a photograph of his dog was found.
Now, Leif and his Border Collie cross will finally be reunited after five years apart.
'It's very much a miracle and a coincidence I found him and ever since I'm thinking of him with (a) broken heart,' Mr Fischer said.

The German tourist had made a habit of combing lost and found pages since losing Chopper before finding him on the Katherine Council Facebook page last week.
Chopper had somehow travelled the 674km from Tennant Creek to Katherine sometime in the last five years.
Despite the miracle find Mr Fischer and Chopper will have to wait a little longer before being properly reunited.
Chopper is not permitted to enter Germany until his current vaccinations are at least three months old, according to German law.
Mr Fischer took to social media hopeful an animal lover would help look after his mate in the meantime.
Luckily a friendly resident in the Katherine area contacted the German man and volunteered to look after Chopper.
Mr Fischer, a student, said it was going to be difficult for him to raise the $8000 needed to get his friend home.
As a result of the cost he set up a GoFundMe page to help finance the complex trip back to Germany.
Mr Fischer said he never gave up hope of being reunited with his best mate and described the moment he found him online five years later as a 'miracle'

After contacting the ranger who captured Chopper Mr Fischer said it appeared his dog had been living on the streets for some time.
In the years since losing him in the Outback the German national had relived the moment over and over again in his head.
He said he couldn't even bring himself to think about buying another dog, the heartbreak was too raw.
'It's true that a dog can be a man's best friend,' he said.
The day he woke up to find Chopper missing was a heart wrenching one and he searched everywhere he could for his friend.
Eventually the park manager told him they saw a family playing with Chopper before taking him with them.
Mr Fischer continued to search Tennant Creek before he was forced to move on from the area and leave his beloved pet behind.
He said he never gave up on being reunited with Chopper despite having to return to Germany.
Mr Fischer said it was going to be difficult to raise the funds needed to get Chopper (pictured as a puppy) back to Germany, he also has to wait at least three months for vaccines to take hold
